This charming stone built semi-detached cottage enjoys a courtyard location in the town of Windermere, which sits at the heart of the magnificent Lake District National Park. Accommodating up to three people, the property enjoys a secluded setting but is only a two-minute walk from the town centre. Beech Cottage has one family bedroom with a double bed, single bed and there is a well-presented separate shower room. The open plan living space has a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room, all with a contemporary finish. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property enjoys heating from electric economy storage heaters throughout. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, microwave and a fridge. Beech Cottage also features a colour TV with Freeview and a radio/CD player. All of the fuel and power use is inclusive and guests are provided with bed linen. A travel cot is available by prior request. Outside the property, there is off road parking in the courtyard for one vehicle on a first come, first served basis. Unfortunately, no pets are welcome. This property has a no smoking policy. There are shops and pubs within a two-minute walk away. Local Town Description The stunning town of Windermere offer a good choice of amenities, shops and places to eat to suit all tastes and requirements. Guests can enjoy boat trips from Bowness to Ambleside, the nearby Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. The "World of Beatrix Potter" in Bowness is a great place for children to visit and uses the latest technology to bring the famous characters to life. The Lake District National Park is a wonderful place to explore, with Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains all within easy reach.
