Enjoying a hillside setting close to the centre of the Lake District town of Keswick is this semi-detached bungalow. Accommodating up to four people, this property is a superb base for exploring the many local delights of this stunning area.

High Doat has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a family bathroom. There is also a fitted kitchen with a summer room, dining area and a sitting room with a gas fire.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has full gas central heating with extra heat provided from the gas fire in the sitting room. In the kitchen, there is an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. High Doat also boasts a colour TV, DVD player, radio and a selection of books, games and DVDs. All of the fuel and power is included in the rent and guests are provided with bed linen. A cot is also available on request.

Outside there is off road parking for two cars, a garage where bikes can be stored securely, a front garden and an enclosed rear garden with a patio area, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. There are shops and a pub within a short walking distance of the property.

Local Town Description

The charming town of Keswick sits to the north of the Lake District and is popular for visitors all year around. There are many shops, places to eat, a miniature golf course, superb parks and a famous Theatre by the Lake. The beautiful lake of Derwent Water, which sits at the head of the stunning Borrowdale Valley is a short stroll from the town centre. The area is popular for walking, cycling and fishing within the spectacular scenery that surrounds this idyllic location.
