Just eleven miles from Kirkby Lonsdale, and thirteen miles from the lovely Lakeland town of Kendal, Orchard Holme is a stone built cottage next to the owner's home in pretty Priest Sutton.

Ideal for exploring the twin National Parks of the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, the property offers three bedrooms, by way of a king sized double, a twin and a single providing an extra pull out bed. The bathroom is on the first floor and offers a WC, basin, bath with shower over. You will also find a ground floor shower room with basin, WC and shower. Sun lounge, open fire in the sitting room, and a snug/dining room with open fire and sofabed. Well presented kitchen.

Well proportioned rear garden having terrace and barbecue and outdoor furniture. Enclosed front garden, roadside parking plus two private off road spaces.

Local Town Description

Priest Hutton is particularly well placed for touring and being within striking distance of two iconic National Parks. It is an attractive scattering of farmsteads and old cottages, and is near to the Kendal to Lancaster Canal, where you will also find Borwick Hall.

As well as the National Parks and the lovely Forest of Bowland, you will find that Lancaster and the top coastal resorts of Blackpool and Morecambe are close at hand and within easy reach.

For wildlife enthusiasts, the Leighton Moss RSPB reserve is just five miles distant, and there is further bird watching at Morecambe Bay. Further recommended day tripping includes Clapham, Settle, Ingleton, Arnside (with estuary views) and Silverdale. Sizergh Castle has beautiful gardens as has Levens Hall with its topiary.
