On the north western edge of the Peak District National Park, Woodhead Cottage is a semi-detached property constructed of a pleasing stone design and being located in the village of Tintwistle just two miles from the attractive town of Glossop. There are views over Glossop itself and Bottoms Reservoir. There is one double bedroom which is accessed by way of a spiral staircase. The ground floor wet room has WC, basin and a shower. Open plan daytime accommodation set out as kitchen, dining and sitting areas, with super views and garden access via patio doors. Off road parking, enclosed patio garden with barbecue and outdoor furniture. Great local views. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Inclusive of bed linen, towels, fuel and power. Full gas heating, fridge, microwave, electric oven and gas hob. DVD, TV with freesat. Regret no smoking and no pets, two minutes walk to pub, five minutes walk to shop. Access via steps leading from the roadside parking area. The spiral staircase is not suitable children or the infirm. Local Town Description Tintwistle is in fact skirted on three sides by the boundaries of the Peak District National Park, and is famed for having Bottoms Reservoir in the centre of the village. The Park is well regarded for the standard of its cycling and walking trails, and following the Roman Road to Edale and Kinder Scout is a favourite. There is also the Snake Pass to Ladybower and Derwent Reservoirs. Nearby Glossop provides the very best of amenities and facilities.
