Cottage Description

Situated on the Hartland Forest Golf and Leisure Parc, two miles from the village of Woolsery, is this delightful Finnish-style lodge. Ideally based for exploring the North Devon coast, this property can accommodate up to six people.

Lodge 48 on the Parc is an all ground floor lodge, which has one double bedroom with en-suite facilities, two twin bedrooms and a separate shower room. The property also has an open plan living space with a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and a sitting room.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has electric thermostatic heating throughout. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and a dishwasher. Lodge 48 also features a colour TV, video, DVD player and a CD player/radio. All electricity use is inclusive. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels.

Outside the property, there is off road parking for two cars and a decked patio area with outdoor furniture. There is also the use of on-site children's play park and on-site private fishing lakes, which are unfenced so children should be supervised at all times. Five-miles away at Penstowe Manor, guests are welcome to use their leisure facilities, which include an indoor and outdoor heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, squash court, tennis courts, bar/restaurant and a games room, which are all available for a small extra cost. No pets are welcome. This is a no smoking property. There are shops and a pub within two-miles of the property.

Local Town Description

The small North Devonshire village of Woolsery is situated close to Hartland Forest, where there are hundreds of acres of beautiful woodland and the village is home to shops and a pub. The charming village of Clovelly is just five-miles away where visitors can enjoy the pretty cottages, cobbled footpaths and a fourteenth century harbour. Stretching from the nearby town of Bideford across to Bude, the seashore forms part of the National Trust's Heritage Coastline, providing breathtaking walks stunning cliff top views at Hartland Quay. The area has many opportunities for water sports locally, especially at Bude and Tamar Lakes.
