Milber Cottage is a beautifully presented cottage in the centre of the pretty and charming village of Kingswear. Dating back to the early 1700s, the cottage was formerly a rest house for weary travellers awaiting the ferry across to Dartmouth. The property benefits from a tiered patio garden, offering spectacular panoramic river views. Internally the property boasts character features as well as stunning exposed beams and slate worktops.

Furnished with a pair of matching 2 seater sofas, 1 is a sofa bed. Features a TV with Freeview and DVD player. Radio/CD player and ipod dock.

Appliances include an oven, electric hob, dishwasher and washer/dryer. Full range of utensils and accessories as well as a microwave, kettle and toaster.

Bedroom 1 is furnished with a double bed, bedside units with lamps, chest of drawers and mirror. Offers glimpses over the River Dart.

Bedroom 2 is furnished with twin beds and a wardrobe.

Features a bath with shower over, wash basin, mirror and toilet.

Parking space in the marina car park. Three steps to Milber Cottage from road level. Tiered patio area, complete with furniture, offering views over the River Dart and across to Dartmouth (please note there are 36 steps from the lower patio to the upper patio).

The village of Kingswear is friendly and tranquil yet it is just a 5 minute ferry crossing to the vibrant and unique Naval town of Dartmouth. From Kingswear, the Dartmouth Steam Railway departs for Paignton and provides some of the finest views over the undulating South West Coastal Path and out to sea. Dartmouth is home to a selection of good restaurants, bars, cafe's, galleries and shops to discover. From the embankment take a leisurely picturesque boat tour up the River Dart to the market town of Totnes or visit the former residence of Agatha Christie, Greenway.

Short walk to the car and passenger ferry across to Dartmouth. In close proximity to Coleton Fishacre National Trust property and Dartmouth Steam Railway. Ideal position for exploring the South West Coastal Path.

Please note: The cottage is accessed via a road which becomes extremely narrow only after the entrance to the property. There is space outside the cottage to load/unload. Access onto the road would not be suitable for larger vehicles.
