Sitting within the small Dorset hamlet of Dottery, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, is this charming whitewashed semi-detached cottage. Enjoying a magnificent rural location, this property can accommodate up to four people.

Lynch Cottage is a superb country retreat, which has features including a wood burning stove in the sitting room, galley-style kitchen and a decked patio with rural views. The property is well equipped and furnished to a superb standard, offering one double bedroom and one twin bedroom.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property enjoys full oil central heating with extra heating from the wood burning stove in the sitting room. In the kitchen, there is an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. The property also has a colour TV, DVD player, CD/radio and a library of books and games. Fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the wood burner is included in the rental price. There is also bed linen and towels provided.

Outside, off road parking is available for two vehicles and there is a garden with a lawn and raised decking area. A babysitting service can be offered and guests can make use of the owners' tennis court, both by prior arrangement. One well-behaved dog is welcome. No smoking is allowed. There is a shop and pub just over one mile away.

The small Dorset hamlet of Dottery sits within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of Marshwood Vale and just two miles from the market town of Bridport, which often featured on the popular TV series River Cottage. The magnificent Jurassic Coast is a short distance away and provides spectacular scenery and opportunities for fossil hunting. The local area is surrounded by stunning countryside, pretty villages and coastal walking trails. The harbours and seafronts of Lyme Regis, Weymouth and West Bay are all nearby.
