This delightful converted stone barn is located on a very quiet no through road in the pretty village of Osmington, in an area of outstanding natural beauty.
The building has been renovated to a very high standard, with traditional features throughout including a large open fireplace, beamed ceilings, and polished wood and flagstone floors. The sleeping accommodation consists of a double room, a twin room (bunks) and sleeping for 2 (double bed) on a mezzanine floor above the fire in the living room.
There are gardens to the front and rear, a patio area with barbecue, and off road parking for 3 cars.
It is located a mile from the coast, and is within easy reach of the beaches at Osmington Mills and Ringstead, as well as having the facility for private parking and access to a private beach at Redcliff Point. The cottage is in an ideal location for the South West Coast path, with walks to Lulworth and the Purbecks, and is a short drive to Weymouth with its harbour, beach, shops and nightlife. There are plenty of attractions in the surrounding area including Weymouth Sealife Centre, Abbotsbury sub-tropical gardens, Monkeyworld, Hardy's Cottage and Tyneham Village.
Fees range from £340/wk low season to £680 peak season, with short breaks and some discounts available.
