Located in the tranquil setting of Gatehouse of Fleet in Dumfries and Galloway, is this charming whitewashed single storey end terraced cottage, which can accommodate up to four people.

Da Dheug has been fully renovated to offer an open plan living space with a fitted kitchen, dining area and sitting room. There is also a king-size double bedroom and a twin bedroom.

This property is benefitted from having full gas central heating. In the kitchen, there is an electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. The property also has a colour TV, DVD player, radio/CD player and a library of books and games. All fuel and power is included in the rental price. There is bed linen and towels provided. A full-sized travel cot without bedding and a highchair can be made available.

Outside there is roadside parking for one vehicle in front of the cottage, with extra parking available in a nearby community centre car park. There is also a delightful garden with a patio area and outdoor furniture. No pets are allowed. Smoking is not permitted. There are shops and a pub within a short walk of the property.

Gatehouse of Fleet is a delightful town that sits on the banks of the stunning Solway Firth and is full of quiet streets and pastel-coloured buildings. The town boasts a post office, bank, bakers, butchers and grocers. There is also a pub, which serves food and a fascinating visitor centre, which tells the story of the town's cotton spinning days. The magnificent countryside of Dumfries and Galloway surrounds the town and there are stunning sandy beaches and a loch, which is popular for river fishing.

The cottage went well beyond my expectations. There was great attention to small details on the part of the owner which made us feel very welcome.
