Sitting adjacent to the owner's home, the property has its own private secluded garden with patio furniture and splendid rural views. It is a couple of miles away from the lovely village of Kirkinner, to the south of which is the award winning visitor centre at Whithorn, exhibiting the importance of the area in the birth of Christianity in Scotland. Walk in the Galloway Forest Park, and visit local centres such as Newton Stewart, Wigtown (renowned for book shops), and Bladnoch Distillery and Inn. Port William was an infamous smuggling centre, but now provides shelter for anglers and leisure craft. A great trip is to cross to Ireland by ferry from Stranraer. Many outdoor pursuits are available including golf and bird watching. This comfortable, cosy cottage has a friendly atmosphere. The accommodation comprises upper level lounge with futon sofa bed. At the lower level there is one twin bedroom, kitchen with dining table, shower-room. All electric with night storage heating. Cooker, fridge, washing machine, microwave, television, dvd player. Bed linen and towels are provided.
