It provides a delightful retreat for a couple or a small family - all rooms are on one level for ease of access. There are flowering front gardens and to the rear, a small enclosed garden with seating and delightful river views.

The market town of Lockerbie is two and a half miles away with a fine selection of shops, pubs and hotels. Guests can enjoy the peaceful roads through stunning countryside to such places as Carlisle, Dumfries or Gretna, all a short drive away. The Solway coast is renowned for its beaches and cliff top walks as well as inland forest, woodland and hill walking. Cycling here is wonderful on peaceful byways or the famous and more adventurous Seven Stanes mountain bike trails. This is also a golfers paradise and loch/river angling is easily accessible.

You will be delighted with the traditional, cosy accommodation which is laid out as one double and one single bedroom (travel cot/high chair available), lounge with open fire, kitchen/dining room with exposed beams, bathroom shower over the bath. Cooking by electricity, heating by electricity and solid fuel. Fridge, washing machine, microwave, television. Bed linen provided, towels provided for overseas guests only
