Cottage Description

This former nineteenth century stable block, which is situated on a working livestock farm just three miles from the ancient town of Annan, has been renovated to a high standard and can accommodate up to four people. Guests can enjoy this beautiful rural setting and the onsite facilities, which include a hot tub and games room.

The Loft has two double bedrooms, a shower room and open plan living space with a well-equipped fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting room with views overlooking the farm.

There are a number of shared on-site facilities, which include a hot tub, games room, children's playground and gardens.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property enjoys oil-fired central heating throughout. The kitchen has an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer and washing machine. The Loft also boasts a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, CD/cassette/radio and a library of books and DVDs. All of the fuel and power is included in the rent and guests are provided with bed linen and towels. A travel cot is available on request.

Outside there is off road parking for two vehicles and the shared use of a garden, patio, outdoor furniture, BBQ and children's playground. There is also the opportunity to book use of a games room with table tennis, table football, a pool table, dartboard and children's toys. Guests also have access to book time in the indoor hot tub, which has a shower room. One well-behaved pet is allowed but all properties have a no smoking policy. There is a pub just one mile away and shops three miles away.

Local Town Description

The historic town of Annan sits on the banks of the River Annan and in honour of the Royal Charter bestowed by King James V, the town celebrates with parades, massed pipe bands and competitions every year. Within the local area, there are many small towns and villages, as well as beautiful sandy beaches. There is also easy access to the city of Glasgow, the northern part of the Lake District and Hadrian's Wall.
