Cottage Description
Approximately five miles from Annan, Powfoot is an attractive peaceful village offering an excellent golf course, a fine pub/restaurant and a marvellous spa. The Old Post Office was indeed used for that very purpose and dates back to late Victorian times. It is positioned a few steps from the sea, and consequently has uninterrupted sea views. The village is set on the Solway Coast Heritage Trail, and the area itself has many attractions, particularly in relation to its Lake District access and the proximity to Hadrian's Wall.
