Location On the doorstep is stunning landscapes, with many walking and cycling opportunities along the lochs, glens, on the hills and in the forests. Just a short distance away is the town centre of Dalbeattie and close by are beaches and coves, and also Rockcliffe, Kippford and Sandyhill beaches. There are many activities to do such as sailing, windsurfing, angling, bird-watching, riding, mountain biking, golf, the theatre and many more. Golf-lovers will enjoy the Southerness Golf course and those looking for a bit of culture will find museums, castles, art galleries and abbeys in the vicinity. City life is just 2 hours drive away, with Glasgow and Edinburgh, with great shopping facilities!
