Cottage Description

Sitting in the village of Gatehouse of Fleet in southern Scotland is this charming terraced cottage. Located on the main high street with easy access to all the village amenities, this property can accommodate up to six people.

Weavers Cottage has one double bedroom with a dressing room, one double bedroom with en-suite facilities and one twin bedroom. All bedrooms are furnished with goose down duvets. The property also includes a family bathroom, fitted kitchen, dining room and a sitting room with a wood burning stove.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has full gas central heating with supplementary heat from the wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Weavers Cottage also features a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, stereo, DVDs, CDs, books and games. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the wood burning stove are included in the price and guests are supplied with bed linen. A cot and highchair are available by prior request.

Outside the property, there is plenty of roadside parking for two cars and a spacious garden with a patio area, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. No pets and no smoking allowed. This property sits within a short walk of the village's shops and pubs.

Local Town Description

The village of Gatehouse of Fleet lies on the Solway Firth at the heart of Dumfries and Galloway. There are beautiful sandy beaches nearby and the village has a good selection of shops, a chemist, bank and post office. There are four pubs in the village serving food, two cafes and a kilt-making factory. This is a great base for exploring this wonderful region, the Solway Firth and Galloway Forest Park.
