Located on the outskirts of the village of Stainton, which is just one mile from Barnard Castle, is this end terrace, stone built cottage. Enjoying a wonderful rural setting, this delightful property can accommodate up to four people. Hillcrest has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a well-presented bathroom. There is also a well-equipped kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a multi-fuel stove. Amenities/Accommodation Overview The property has a coal-fired multi-fuel stove in the sitting room, which supplies heat to radiators, the hot water system and there is an additional immersion heater. The kitchen is equipped with a gas cooker with double oven and six-ring hob, fridge/freezer and a washing machine. Hillcrest also features a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player and CD player. All of the fuel and power is included in the lease and guests are provided with bed linen and towels. A cot and highchair are available on request. Externally there is roadside parking for one car in front of the property, bike storage available and a small front sitting area with outdoor furniture. No smoking is allowed. Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved pet. This property sits just one-mile from shops and a pub. Local Town Description The small rural village of Stainton is located in a beautifully unspoilt area of Teesdale in County Durham and sits just one mile from the charming market town of Barnard Castle. It is a superb base for exploring the Yorkshire Dales National Park and guests can enjoy walks along the nearby Pennine and Teesdale Ways. Barnard Castle is home to medieval ruins of an ancient castle, which overlooks a river and cobbled streets.

The cottage was beautifully decorated and well appointed. There were lots of extras provided such as washing up liquid, tea, coffee, sugar and fruit.
