Coxhoe is to be found just six miles from the lovely cathedral city of Durham, and only twenty miles from the vibrant north east city of Newcastle on Tyne. This delightful, modern end of terrace three bedroomed property is only a few minutes walk from the centre of Coxhoe and hence conveniently placed for all local amenities. The accommodation is to be found over three floors and provides three bedrooms comprising a second floor double, and two further double bedrooms, one having en suite WC, basin and shower. Family bathroom with WC, basin, bath and shower over. Ground floor basin and WC, attractive well presented kitchen with dining area, attractive sitting room. There is a shared rear yard and a front and rear garden. One hundred and fifty yards away is a paddock for horses, also providing extra parking for caravans/cars etc. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Inclusive of power, fuel, towels and bed linen. Full gas heating, washing machine, freezer, fridge, microwave, gas hob and electric cooker. DVD, TV, stereo/CD etc. High chair and cot availability by request, two car roadside parking, plus extra parking as described. Regret no smoking, two well behaved dogs allowed, two minutes walk to pub, four minutes walk to shop. Note: Some traffic noise from the A1(M) is audible from the garden. Local Town Description Set between Cornforth and Bowburn in the boundaries of the City of Durham, Coxhoe has evidence of bronze age occupation, but really only grew in importance in medieval times as well as during the height of the coal industry. The poet Elizabeth Browning spent her childhood here. It is a splendid base to explore the picturesque Northumberland area being convenient for local road networks. Places to put on your touring list should include Beamish Open Air Museum, Durham Cathedral and Castle, plus Locomotion National Museum. Children will love Diggerland, and there are great walks across moors and beautiful countryside.
