Stable Court Family Cottage

Cottage Description

Stable Court Family Cottage

Stable Court is a tasteful Grade II listed three bedroomed property to be found at Eggleston only four miles from Barnard Castle. It is a village that can be traced back to the late twelfth century, and many of the local cottages were built for local lead miners by the Society of Friends.

It is an impressive building of local stone and features tradition by way of beams, fireplaces and original stone floors. There are three bedrooms, being a ground floor twin with en-suite WC, basin and shower, a king-size four poster double with en-suite WC, basin and shower, and finally a family room with king-size double, as well as a single bed and additional pull-out stacker bed with en-suite bathroom having bath, basin and WC.

Sitting room on the first floor with open fire, TV and sofa bed. Cloaks with basin and WC. Ground floor utility with WC off. Fitted kitchen with Aga, dining area and TV. Dining room with excellent seating, TV and wood burner.

High hillside position with Tees Valley views, often regarded as "The Secret Dale", this is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
