On the outskirts of the Royal Burgh of Dunbar in the lovely village of Belhaven, this offers a peaceful getaway with all the benefits of amazing sea shore and countryside walks. This is one of the three areas in Scotland renowned for the most hours of sunshine and the least amount of rainfall. The gorgeous golden beach of Belhaven Bay is within 100 yards and heads to the John Muir Country Park, a conservation for wildlife habitat with far-reaching woodland walks. Dunbar has a brilliant swimming/leisure pool on top of two golf courses. This customary sandstone cottage has been given a contemporary look and an extension designed by an architect offers spacious and bright living areas. There is an idyllic enclosed garden with outdoor garden furniture and a barbecue for those hot days. From the original cottage, steps head down into the large kitchen with an intimate dining area and patio doors that open out to the garden. A timber stair leads up from the dining area to a gallery that possesses a combed ceiling and stunning views to the bass rock and sea. Edinburgh is just 20 minutes by train or 40 minutes by car, depending on how you prefer to travel. The nearest shop is only half a mile down the road with larger shops in Dunbar.

The property possesses two double bedrooms and two smaller rooms each with bunk beds, gallery seating area, dining room that is open plan into the kitchen and two bathrooms where by one comes with an electric shower. Cooking is by gas hob and there is an electric oven. You will have gas central heating. You will also be able to use the fridge, small freezer, automatic washing machine, microwave, television, DVD player and a CD/radio. A travel cot and high chair are available by prior request. Bed linen available for hire to overseas guests only.
