This unique cottage can be found in the peaceful village of Goodmanham in the Yorkshire Wolds and can sleep up to four people with its two bedrooms. Set in the wing of The Old Hall, this property is based in the delightful village of Goodmanham which is not far from the market town of Market Weighton. It is wonderfully restored and possesses a cosy living area with a low beamed ceiling and feature brick fireplace. There is also a fitted kitchen that has a breakfast area and a shower room. The property has one double bedroom with one twin bedroom on the second floor. The cottage is set adjacent to the village church and the pub is only 5 minutes away. There are plenty of walking opportunities near by as well as idyllic villages and towns for guests to discover. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Heating is available throughout the property courtesy of night storage heaters. Extra heating is included in the living area by a wood burning stove. An electric oven, hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge are all supplied. The living area has a TV, DVD player and CD player. All fuel, power, bed linen and towels are included. Roadside parking is available close to the property. One well behaved dog is welcome. Unfortunately, no smoking is allowed. The closest pub is just a 5 minute walk away and the nearest shop is 1.5 miles away. Local Town Description Goodmanham is a small village that can be traced back to the Stone Age and is one of the oldest religious destinations in the country with a Norman-style church and a charming village pub. The Wolds Way Walk runs through the town and is a great attraction for walkers. Only 2 miles away is the beautiful town of Market Weighton that is home to many Georgian and Victorian streets. It also has a lot of shops, pubs and some lovely tea rooms for guests to visit. There is also a weekly farmers' market. Local attractions near by include Skipsea Castle, Yorkshire Air Museum, Beverley Minster and the historic city of York.

A quiet get away from the pressure of life and family. An un-cluttered, cosy cottage in a village where time forgot. Friendly people, a good pub (that allows dogs) an interesting Church with a history. Plenty of walks.
