Customer Rating/Reviews
This lodge is a real authentic rural retreat, situated on a small holding farm and horse riding school. There is a good level of privacy with outstanding views of the york countryside. You can book riding with the owner on arrival and would recommend "Freckles" or "Jigsaw" for the children. There is a wheat field feet from the lodge which has access from the lodge to the public footpath which runs through fields and woods into the next village some 3 miles away. If you like the idea of feeding chickens, chasing goats, horse riding and country walks then this would definitely be the place to stay.
