Just a mile from the centre of Atwick, and only two miles from popular Hornsea, this is a pretty detached cottage located in the grounds of the owner's home and offering a pleasing little retreat for two people. Brick with pretty pan tile roof, the ground floor based accommodation provides a double bedroom, a shower room with basin, WC and power shower, as well as a lovely sitting room and a kitchen with dining space. You have use of the owner's wood, plus a small lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Amenities/Accommodation Overview Inclusive of towels, bed linen, power and fuel. Full oil fired central heating, fridge, microwave, electric hob and oven, use of owner's washing machine and freezer. Radio/CD player, TV, DVD player, one car off road parking, one well behaved dog allowed, regret no smoking. One mile to pub and shop. Local Town Description Featuring a central village green, Atwick offers a range of brick and stone built cottages. There is a great local pub offering splendid food, and only a fifteen minute walk to the coast. Two miles away is Hornsea with wonderful golden sands, a Bird of Prey Display, a Folk Museum and a leisure complex. For further entertainment, travel the ten miles to the wonderful coastal town of Bridlington which has great seaside attractions for all the family. York is not far away, and is one of Britain's top tourist attractions, featuring buildings and remains from almost every important period of British history. There are great shops, restaurants, and pubs and museums such as the Jorvik Centre and the National Railway Museum.
