Lilac Cottage has accommodation that consists of an open plan lounge/dining room with open fire and well appointed kitchen area. There is a double bedroom and two single bedrooms (1 with extra pull out single bed for 1). Two bathroom/WCs with roll top bath.

History abounds in the area, for the village has roots back to the 16th century, while the causeway itself has Roman origins. Four miles of coastline with beaches are waiting to be explored

Osea offers magnificently appointed cottages finished to exacting standards designed to make your stay a wonderful experience. You can enjoy the outdoor heated swimming pool, games room, viewing room, gym, sauna and tennis court. Other activities can be arranged by the owner, as well as a chef to prepare meals (full details on request).

The pretty town of Maldon is five miles distant, and has a picturesque quay and pretty shops. Historic Colchester has a zoo and castle, whilst Constable country is worth a visit. Mersea island is renowned for its fish and oysters and Southend will entertain the family. Nearest. pub and shop on the mainland three miles.

The property has easy walking access, electric panel central heating included. Pets - 2 dogs maximum
