2 Manor Beach House has an open plan lounge/diner with wood burning stove and an excellent kitchen area. There are two double bedrooms, both with four poster bed and dressing room. Two bathrooms/WC with roll top bath and sep. shower cubicle. Shower room/WC. As mentioned the property is accessed by car along a causeway with Roman origins. For times when it is inaccessible, you can use the river taxi at an extra charge. Two of the properties in the group have listed status There is a total of four miles of coastline and beaches on this beautiful island which is a haven for rare birds and wildlife. With its 350 acres of countryside it provides peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. There is the added bonus of an outdoor heated swimming pool, also a games room, sauna, gym and tennis court, as well as a viewing room The owner can arrange a variety of activities as well as a chef to prepare meals for you (full details on request). For touring, visit the lovely town of Maldon five miles away, with its pretty quay and attractive shops. Include Colchester zoo and castle in your itinery and enjoy Constable country, Mersea Island and Southend which will provide fun for the family . Pub and shop on the mainland are both three miles distant. The property has Easy walking access, Electric panel central heating included . Regret no pets
