Cottage Description

Situated on a small country estate, less than one-mile from the town of Cupar is a beautiful detached country cottage set in a peaceful location with stunning views over fields and woodland. The property is surrounded by a wealth of wildlife and cattle graze in the nearby pastures.

Garden Cottage dates back to 1890 and has a charming stone bow front. The property has a warm and comfortable lounge, with a TV, DVD and original open fire. There is a dining room and well-appointed kitchen with a fridge, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a double bedroom and a twin bedroom, both with coombed ceilings and spectacular countryside views. There is also a bathroom and separate toilet. On arrival, bed linen, towels and a welcome pack are provided. There is a private garden for guests to relax in, outdoor furniture is available, and a Little Tykes climbing frame. The estate has a tennis court, which visitors can use by arrangement.

The surrounding countryside has numerous walks and the last part of the Coast-to-Coast walk from Oban to St Andrews is close by. The local town of Cupar was for a long time the county town of Fife and is still a lively place to visit with many pubs restaurants and caf?s to enjoy.

The area is well known for its golf courses and the Scottish Deer Centre is just three miles away. There are several pretty villages to visit in the East Neuk, where there are clean, sandy beaches and safe bathing. The University town of St Andrews is also within easy reach.

Cooking in this property is by electricity and there is oil-fired central heating throughout.
