Cottage Description

Located by the coast, just two miles from St Andrews, these charming properties are situated within a courtyard development with views over open countryside, a world-renowned golf course and the sea. The purpose built cottages have traditional exteriors, yet are furnished in a contemporary style.

This semi-detached two-storey property has a lounge with a TV, DVD player and patio doors that lead out on to a patio area, with outdoor furniture and landscaped gardens. The well-appointed kitchen has a dining area, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. The property has three twin bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower over the bath and a separate toilet. A cot and highchair are available and bed linen and towels are provided. There is a laundry room on site.

Guests are welcome to take advantage of the numerous on-site facilities, which include a play area, putting green, golf practice nets, pitching green, football pitch and games room. The spacious, well-kept grounds are good for exploring and there is private parking. The cottages are personally supervised by the owners and are maintained to a very high standard. Guests are also welcome to visit the world-renowned Fairmont Hotel and Resort, which is a ten-minute walk across the golf course and are entitled to discounts off food, drink and the resort facilities. The nearby university town of St Andrews has an excellent selection of shops, pubs and restaurants. There is also a cinema, theatre and is considered to be the home of golf, so has excellent courses and a Golf Museum. The whole area is steeped in Scottish history and there are many castles and historic homes open to the public. There are also many charming fishing villages and market towns around inland Fife and sandy coves and spectacular cliffs of the East Neuk within easy reach.

With superb on-site facilities, this is an ideal base for a family holiday and is a very popular area with keen golfers. There is private parking and the property has full electricity.
