Customer Rating/Reviews
Larchwood cottage has everything you could want to have a really relaxed holiday. The cottage was spotless, beds were comfy and things like the selection of Horrid Henry books in the twin bedroom were very appreciated by my boys. Loggerheads country park is next door, and the view from the top of the cliff is worth the climb. Rainbow Inn a mile away from the cottage serves great food. Finally a stunning beach at Talacre 40mins away.

This cosy and warm nook felt just like home from the moment we opened the door. The cottage is extremely well equipped and tidily furnished with new modern furnishings. The locals are very friendly and there are a couple of reasonable pub/restaurants within a mile or two. The location is an ideal base for visiting Chester (ex Park and Ride) and Liverpool. There is a village shop that sells provisions, newspapers, etc.

Larchwood cottage was just fabulous. It was beautifully decorated and extremely clean. When we got there, the owners had left some Welsh bread, Welsh butter and tea which was a lovely welcome gift. The cottage had everything you could want and more and the log burner in the living room made the whole cottage very warm and homely. We will hopefully be returning there next year!

Larchwood cottage was very comfortable, the accommodation exceeded our expectations. My only comment is that the garden is quite steep and a bit scary when you have small children. However this was compensated for by the close proximity of Logerheads country park and the fantastic Caffi Florence.

My husband and I stayed at Larchwood Cottagein March 2010 with our dog Bonnie. We had a fantastic weekend walking around the various trails in Loggerheads the location is superb. We found the cottage immaculate and extremely well presented modern and contemporary decor but managing to retain a cosy cottagey feel. Its a lovely, quiet area, perfect for getting away from the rat race to recharge your batteries, and we felt very comfortable in Larchwood which suited our needs perfectly. There is a nice, friendly pub next door too.

We stayed at Larchwood Cottage mid March 2010, and just couldn't help but leave a review to say how happy we was with the service we recieved and the cottage itself!! On arrival at the cottage we were greeted by a very pleasant owner, and soon found out that we had been left with the essentials such as bread, milk and butter which was a pleasant surprise and a lovely touch to make us feel wanted!! The cottage itself was just like a home from home consisting of a cosy lounge with woodburner stove, whirlpool bath (great to relax in after a busy day), a lovely garden with summerhouse, a comfy new bed and many little touches like music, games etc etc - it definitely felt like all boxes had been ticked!! And with a pub next door....WOW! The location is perfect, and is close to many places of interest athough a car is needed to reach Chester Zoo, Aquarium, Snowdonia!! This break was amazing, good value for money, homely, cosy, warm, friendly and everything you'd like in a break away!

We stayed at the cottage for three nights and we were greeted by the owner who was most helpful. The cottage itself was fantastic, very clean and very accommodating, and the people in the village were very friendly. Amazing scenery, fantastic walks and good local pubs !!! I can assure you I do not work in advertising for this cottage, but it was simply amazing - we definitely will be returning!
