Cottage Description

This delightful single storey cottage is situated in the village of Bream in Herefordshire. The property enjoys a wonderful rural setting, yet is close to the town of Lydney. It is packed with character and can accommodate up to four people.

Noxon Pond Cottage has one double bedroom, one bedroom with bunk beds and a family bathroom. The open plan living space contains a well-equipped fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has air sourced economical under-floor heating and a private water supply. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, dishwasher and a washer/dryer. Noxon Pond Cottage also features a colour TV with Freeview, DVD player, stereo/CD player and a library of books and games. All of the fuel and power is inclusive and guests are provided with bed linen and towels. A cot and highchair are available by prior request. An organic vegetable box can be made available for purchase by prior arrangement with the owner.

Outside the property, there is a garden, patio area with outdoor furniture and a BBQ. A barn is available for bike and kayak storage and there is half price fishing for carp and bream available on the nearby pond, by prior arrangement with the owner. There is also off road parking for two cars. No smoking is allowed. Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved dog, by prior arrangement with the owner for a small charge.

Local Town Description

The delightful village of Bream enjoys views of the Royal Forest of Dean and the Cotswold Hills. The nearby Royal Forest of Dean, which is England's largest oak forest, is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Here, there are a number of walking, cycling and horse riding trails to enjoy. The ancient market town of Ross-on-Wye is within easy reach and home to timbered Tudor houses and a superb selection of shops, pubs and places to eat in the heart of rural Herefordshire.
