Well set in an area that really is a bird watchers and walkers paradise, Poplars Barn is an exceptional Grade II listed former barn building that successfully retains many original period features and integrates them with the the necessary modern fittings and fitments.

Pleasing semi-detached arrangement, with a construction of red brick with lovely pan tiled roof. The accommodation features two bedrooms, being arranged as two doubles. There is a ground floor shower room with basin, WC and shower cubicle. Open plan day time accommodation with kitchen, dining and sitting areas.

Just two miles from the world famous Slimbridge Wetlands, with the Cotswold Way passing close by. Enjoy the open courtyard area with furniture.

Two car off road parking, regret no smoking and no pets, one minute walk to pub, fifteen minutes to pub. Please note that some traffic noise can be heard because of the property's off road position.

Local Town Description

A well known name, but perhaps not a well known village. Set just three miles from Dursley on the local main road between Gloucester and Bristol, you are beautifully placed for access to the Slimbridge Wildfowl and Wetlands Trust founded by Sir Peter Scott.

There are sixteen hides looking across the fields and lakes, while views of a different kind are to be found from the Sloane Observation Tower giving aspects to the Forest of Dean and the Rivers Severn.

Boat hire and walking available on the nearby Cotswold Way canal, while you could not be better placed to use the property as a touring base to discover the beautiful West Country cities of Bath, Bristol and Gloucester, all steeped in a rich and varied history.
