The Lock House Pet-Friendly Cottage

Sitting at the entrance to the historic Gloucester Docks is this charming detached former lock keepers house, which is just a short walk from Gloucester city centre.

The Lock House has two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom. There is a bathroom with a roll-top bath, spacious shower cubicle, basin and WC. There is also a separate shower room on the ground floor. The sitting room has an open fire, there is a fitted kitchen, dining room and a living/breakfast room, which enjoys wonderful views overlooking the River Severn.

This property has full gas central heating and an open fire in the sitting room. All fuel and power is included in the price. Bed linen and towels are provided.

The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. There is a colour TV, DVD player, books, games and DVD's within the property.

Outside there is off road parking for three vehicles and a riverside garden with outdoor furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved dog is welcome. This is a no-smoking property. The nearest shops, pubs and restaurants are just a two-minute walk away. Children must be supervised at all times due to the close proximity of deep water at the front and rear of the property.

The historic and fascinating waterfront city of Gloucester has many places of interest, which include Roman foundations, a Norman Cathedral and Victorian Docklands. The vibrant city centre has a superb choice of shops, bars and places to eat. The beautiful Cotswolds and stunning Forest of Dean are within easy reach and popular for walking and nature lovers. Nearby Cheltenham hosts famous horse racing including the renowned Gold Cup Festival.
