Cottage Description

This delightful mid-terrace cottage dates back to the nineteenth century and sits on the outskirts of the village of Llan Ffestiniog in the Snowdonia National Park. This property can accommodate up to six people and enjoys superb views of the surrounding countryside and scenery.

25 Tyn y Maes has one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom with an additional pull out bed. There is also a well-presented family shower room, a fitted kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a gas fire.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has full gas central heating with supplementary heat from the real flame gas fire in the sitting room. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge and freezer. There is also a washing machine and tumble dryer in a nearby outhouse. 25 Tyn y Maes features a flat screen TV and DVD player. All of the fuel and power is included in the price and guests are supplied with bed linen and towels. A highchair and stair gate can be made available on request.

Outside the property there is off road parking to the rear for small to medium size vehicle, plus roadside parking in front of the cottage. A shed is available for bike storage and there is a gravel sitting area at the back with outdoor furniture. No pets are allowed. This property has a no smoking policy. The cottage sits just within a short walk of shops and a pub.

Local Town Description

Llan Ffestiniog is located close to the centre of the Snowdonia National Park and has a pub and nice selection of shops. As well as discovering the spectacular local scenery, guests can enjoy a ride on the famous Ffestiniog Railway or go walking, mountain biking and cycling. There are some beautiful sandy beaches nearby and opportunities for fishing in the area. Many charming towns and villages are within easy reach, making it a great place for a family break.
