Enjoying a stunning location at the foothills of the Cader Idris Mountain Range is this stone-built cottage, which adjoins the owner's home. Situated close to the coastal village of Fairbourne in North Wales, this property can accommodate two people.

Bryn Meurig Bach has steep steps leading up to one double bedroom, a shower room and an open plan living space with a fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has electric storage heaters throughout. The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and fridge. The owner's washing machine can be used for a small charge. Bryn Meurig Bach also features a wall mounted TV, DVD player and a combined TV/DVD player. All of the electricity use is inclusive of the price and guests are provided with bed linen and towels. A cot is available on request. Pottery classes are also available in the owner's workshop by prior arrangement.

Outside the property is accessed via a two-hundred metre uneven track, where there is off road parking for one car, bike storage and a patio garden with outdoor furniture and breathtaking views across the sea and Lleyn Peninsula. There are steps up to the front door. Guests are welcome to bring one well-behaved dog, which must be kept on a lead as there are cattle and sheep on the farm next door. This property has a no smoking policy. There are shops, a Post Office, pub and a beach all within a mile away.

Local Town Description

The nearby village of Fairbourne sits within the Snowdonia National Park between the Cambrian Mountains and Barmouth Bay. This stunning coastal village is located beside a beautiful sandy beach, which is popular with families and for water sports. Guests can enjoy trips on the Fairbourne steam railway, which runs along The Bar, a strip of land along which also offers walks. The coastal town of Barmouth is also within easy reach and is home to a good choice of pubs, restaurants and a beach.
