Cottage Description

Located in a quiet cul-de-sac near to the harbour in Barmouth is this delightful former fisherman's cottage. Accommodating two people and within walking distance of shops, pubs and the beach, this property provides a superb base for exploring the delights of the local area and the Welsh coast.

Harbour View Cottage has been superbly furnished and has one double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom. There is also a fitted kitchen with a dining table and a sitting room with an open fire.

Amenities/Accommodation Overview

This property has full gas central heating with extra heat being provided from the open fire in the sitting room. The kitchen has a double electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, dishwasher and a washing machine. Harbour View Cottage also boasts a flat screen TV, DVD player and a stereo/CD player. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of wood for the open fire are included in the rent. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels, but are asked to bring their own beach towels.

Outside there is roadside parking available and a small-enclosed front courtyard garden with outdoor furniture. No pets are allowed. This is a no smoking property. The town's amenities and beach is just a two-minute walk away.

Local Town Description

The popular seaside town of Barmouth has a spacious sandy Blue Flag beach, which is perfect for families. There is a variety of shops, pubs and places to eat and the local area is popular for walking, climbing and cycling. Mount Cader Idris, the second highest mountain in Wales is nearby and there is an abundance of wildlife along the Mawddach Estuary. Other local places of interest include Snowdonia National Park, Harlech Castle and Portmeirion Italianate Village.
