Cottage Description

Located across the courtyard from the farm house belonging to the owner, this property is a well presented single storey holiday home, with an excellent specification and comfortable fittings throughout. Lovely Dorset countryside, located not too far away from the borders with Wiltshire and Hampshire. Fordingbridge and the beautiful New Forest are places that you will want to visit.

The accommodation is ground floor based with one double bedroom (one step down) with en suite shower, WC and basin. Second bedroom is a twin, and there is a bathroom with bath and shower over. Hallway with small dining area, living room and small galley style kitchen. Patio area for some relaxing outdoor eating.

Electric heating throughout charged by coin meter, all other power, towels and bed linen included in the rent. Dishwasher, fridge, microwave, electric hob and oven. TV with freeview. One car off road parking, outdoor furniture for use in yard, one well behaved dog allowed, charged at £10.00 per week. Regret no smoking, use of owner's tennis court by prior arrangement. Shop and pub both fifteen minutes walk away.

Local Town Description

Alderholt is to be found in an area comprising heath land, common land and woodland in east Dorset. The River Avon passes by with excellent trout fishing, and pretty Fordingbridge is three miles away. The New Forest National Park is full of open space, woodlands and can be awash with purple heather, and the famous ponies are a feature too.

Ten miles north is Salisbury with its wonderful spire being the tallest in the country, while cosmopolitan Bournemouth has some of the best beaches in England.
