Cottage Description

This single storey cottage, located in the seaside village of Milford on Sea can accommodate six people and is an ideal base for exploring the coastal and countryside delights of the area.

Driftwood Cottage has a double bedroom, twin bedroom and a single bedroom as well as a superbly furnished living space.

The sitting room has an electric fire and delightful sunroom making the property a superb base all year round. Milford on Sea has a large beach with colourful huts and stunning views towards out to the Isle of Wight, New Forest Park and pony rides. The area is popular for walks and cycling with many footpaths and cycle trails to enjoy. Ferries to the Isle of Wight can also be caught locally.

This property benefits from having full gas central heating with the additional electric fire in living room. The kitchen has an electric oven, halogen hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine and dishwasher. The property also has a colour TV, DVD player, library of books and a number of games. All fuel and power is included. Bed linen is provided. Outside there is off road parking for two vehicles, a garden with a lawn, patio and outdoor furniture. No pets are welcome. Smoking is not allowed. There are shops and a pub within a ten-minute walk from the property and a beach just five miles away.

Local Town Description

Milford on Sea has a spacious and delightful beach with wonderful views out to the Isle of Wight and the iconic Needles. The magnificent New Forest National Park is nearby and offers opportunities for walking and cycling. The village has Pleasure Grounds and fourteen acres of woodland footpaths with walks along the Danes Stream. Guests may like to catch a short ferry ride to explore the Isle of Wight.

We really loved the fact that the property had a theme throughout. It made you feel like you were at the seaside. We also enjoyed being so close to the sea, just a few minutes walk away.
