Situated on the owner's working cattle and equestrian farm in the village of Durley near Southampton, is this single storey barn conversion. Enjoying a peaceful and rural setting, this property can accommodate up to four people. Swallow Cottage has one twin bedroom and one double bedroom with a four-poster bed with en-suite facilities. There is also a family shower room, a sitting room with a wood burning stove, fitted kitchen and a dining area. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property enjoys heating from radiators powered by the wood burning stove in the sitting room. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge and a washing machine. Swallow Cottage also boasts a colour TV with Freeview and a DVD player. All of the fuel, power and a starter pack of logs for the wood burning stove are included in the rent. Guests are provided with bed linen and towels. Outside there is off road parking for one vehicle and a small patio with outdoor furniture. Please be aware that horses use the adjacent farmyard, therefore no pets are allowed. This is a no smoking property. There are shops and a pub just one mile away. Local Town Description The small and tranquil village of Durley is situated close to Botley and within easy reach of city of Southampton. Surrounded by stunning countryside, the village is an ideal base for exploring the many local places of interest and attractions, which include the Royal Naval Dockyard at Portsmouth, Marwell Zoo and Meon Valley. There are many opportunities for scenic walks along the River Hamble, cycling fishing.

Excellent cottage, just right for our family with lovely thoughtful touches from the owners. Very welcoming, clean and well kept. Very practical for a family with young children, with just the right balance between practical and comfortable. Lovely location with lots to do in easy reach.
