Local Town Description

There is much history attached to Fordingbridge and a local museum supplies a lot of information, as well as an exhibition of the work of Augustus John who lived locally for several years. Take note of the seven lovely arches of the medieval Great Bridge.

There is an excellent choice of restaurants, pub and shops, and as mentioned you are right on top of the New Forest National Park, featuring wood land and heath, as well as the famous ponies. Find time to visit Breamore, the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu and the New Forest Water Park.
