Cottage Description

Located on a working farm in the Herefordshire village of Luntley, is this collection of four cottages, which have been superbly converted from sixteenth century farm buildings. This property can sleep up to eight people within its three bedrooms.

The Hop Kiln is a detached barn conversion, which is full of original features, including wall timbers and exposed beams but has been modernised to include under floor heating in the open plan living area. Dating to the sixteenth-century, this property has one king-sized double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, one twin bedroom with an additional single bed and a set of adult bunk beds. There is also a double sofa bed in the large living area.

The Hop Kiln enjoys full oil fired central heating and there is under floor heating in the open plan living space. The kitchen has an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. The property also has a colour TV, video, DVD, CD and wireless internet is available. Fuel & power is included. Bed linen & towels are provided. A cot can be made available.

Outside there is off road parking for three vehicles and bike storage is provided. There is an enclosed private garden with a lawn, outdoor furniture and BBQ. There is also the use of a shared paddock for games and fishing is available on the nearby River Arrow. No pets are welcome. No smoking is allowed. There are shops and pubs just two miles away.

Local Town Description

The tiny hamlet of Luntley enjoys a rural setting in the Welsh Marches. Surrounded by stunning countryside, guests can enjoy the many walking and cycling opportunities available. The medieval village of Pembridge is nearby and sits on the Black and White Village Trail. It is home to half-timbered houses, traditional pubs and a fourteenth century market hall. Hereford and Hay-on-Wye are also close by.
