Cottage Description
This property was formerly a crofter's cottage and sits against the base of the Quiraing Ridge on the mystical Isle of Skye. The single storey cottage has been renovated and restored to an excellent standard and can sleep two people. Benedra View has one double bedroom and a shower room. There is a wood burner in the cosy sitting room, which enjoys stunning views across the surrounding countryside towards the magnificent Staffin Bay. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property benefits from having full electric central heating and a wood burning stove in sitting area. Within the kitchen, there is an electric hob, combined microwave/convection oven/grill, fridge and washing machine. The property also has a colour TV/DVD player and a small library of books, games and DVDs. All fuel, power and starter pack of wood for the wood burning stove is included in the rental price. There is bed linen and towels provided. Outside, there is roadside parking for two vehicles and one third of an acre of a fenced and grassed plot with outdoor chairs. Pets are not welcome. No smoking is allowed. This property is not suitable for children. As the property is accessed using ten concrete steps, it may be unsuitable for guests with limited mobility. There are shops within a short walk away and a pub and restaurant just two miles from the property. Local Town Description The beautiful hamlet of Brogaig sits on the Isle of Skye and is just two miles from the town of Staffin and sixteen miles from Portree. Brogaig enjoys stunning views across to Staffin Island and the renowned Trotternish Ridge. There are many nearby sandy beaches and the fascinating Fossil Museum. Other local places of interest include the Mealt Waterfall, Kilt Rock, The Needle, or the 'Old Man of Storr', a large pillar that dominates the landscape overlooking Loch Fada.

Being away from it all in such a quiet area. Cottage was excellent and in a great position. Loved the wood burner, made it nice and cosy. Heating was good and the cottage was always warm. It made a perfect base for us to stay and it was great and cosy to come back to at the end of each day.
