Cottage Description
Located in the small township of Kendram in the village of Kilmaluag on the Isle of Skye is this traditional stone built cottage. Accommodating up to five people, the property enjoys superb views across an Atlantic sea strait called The Minch. Minch View has one double room, one twin bedroom and one single bedroom. There are open fires in both the sitting room and dining room and a well-equipped fitted kitchen. Amenities/Accommodation Overview This property benefits from having electric storage heaters on the ground floor, panel heaters in the twin bedroom and double bedroom with open fires in the sitting room and dining room. In the kitchen, there is an electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The property also has a colour TV with Freesat, DVD player and a library of books, games and DVD's. A starter pack of fuel for open fires a percentage of the electricity is included in the rental price with the remainder charged via a coin meter. Bed linen and towels are provided for guests. Outside there is roadside parking for one vehicle with additional parking available nearby. There is also a garden with a lawn and outdoor furniture. No pets are welcome. No smoking is allowed. There are shops just five-miles away and a Hotel with a bar less than one mile away. Local Town Description The small township of Kendram sits within the village of Kilmaluag on the northern tip of the mystical Isle of Skye. The natural beauty of the Isle attracts visitors wanting to see its stunning scenery and enjoy many country walks. There is plenty of wildlife to enjoy, a variety of walking terrains and spectacular sea life, which include puffin colonies. Guests can also catch a ferry from Uig to the fascinating Outer Hebrides.

Cosy, well equipped and clean cottage. Information pack left by the owner was very welcome and full of interesting and helpful information. The extra touches of milk in the fridge and flowers on the dining table was a nice welcoming touch.
