Cottage Description

Tollgate Bungalows are a collection of properties located with in a small gated community only 50 metres from the beach. The location of the bungalows is idyllic, with the estuary to the rear of the site. They are situated only off the seafront in the pretty village of Seaview. The village centre is only a 2 minute walk away; here you will a handful of shops and pubs to take pleasure in. Seaview is aptly named as it has far reaching and ever changing views of the Solent the strait separating the Isle of Wight from mainland England.

Seaview is one of the most prestigious areas in the Isle of Wight and is particularly popular with the sailing community. Families also flock to the village to take pleasure in the stunning beaches such as, Seagrove Bay and Priory Bay. Well worth a day out and just a few minutes' walk from Tollgate Bungalows is Seaview Wildlife Encounter, where you can meet rare animals and birds. Tollgate Bungalows benefit from a excellent location, as well as being just minutes away from the village centre of Seaview, the popular town of Ryde is just 3 miles away. Ryde is the largest town on the island and boasts miles of golden golden breaches and an abundance of shops, restaurants, bars and attractions. If visiting towards the end of summer, be sure to catch the Carnival. The town holds the oldest Carnival in the UK, when floats from all over the island come together to create the biggest, brightest spectacle of the year. On the journey back from Ryde towards Seaview be sure to stop at a place called Pluckpool Park. This was once a Victorian Fortification Battery used to guard the Solent; nowadays it's the ideal place to take pleasure in the marvellous sea views. There is also a children's play park, tennis courts, mini golf and stunning gardens. There is so much to do in the area, that after a busy day you will be pleased to come back to Tollgate Bungalows and unwind in comfort. If you don't feel like cooking the Boat House Pub and Restaurant is just metres away, serving fresh local produce.

Contemporary fitted kitchen with oven/grill, washing machine and fridge/freezer. Complete with a range of appliances such as a kettle or toaster.

Bedroom 1 with en-suite Situated on the on the first floor is a, accessed via an open plan staircase from the living area. Furnished with a double bed, 2 bedside cabinets with lamps and a wall mounted TV. En-suite to bedroom 1 features a toilet and wash basin.

Bedroom two Situated on the ground floor. Furnished with a double bed.

Bedroom three Situated on the ground floor. Furnished with twin beds and a bedisde cabinet and lamp.

The main family bathroom is located on the ground floor and consists of w.c, shower cubicle and wash basin. En-suite to bedroom 1 features a toilet and wash basin.

Front and rear decked area. Allocated parking for 2 cars. Only metres from the beach. Short walk to amenities. .
