Cottage Description

Well positioned at Niton on the Isle of Wight, Brooklyn Cottage is a splendid semi-detached Victorian cottage located near to the southern coast on this lovely island.

The property has a delightful garden which is an ideal place to relax and unwind, as well as a wood burning stove for colder evenings. It sleeps up to four people but if you book the adjoining property, you will have combined accommodation for up to eight people.

There are two bedrooms, being a double and a twin. Ground floor bathroom with bath, shower attachment on the taps, WC and basin. Comfortable sitting room with wood burner, dining area off well equipped kitchen.

Inclusive of bed linen, towels, fuel, power and wood burner starter pack. Storage heaters, oil filled radiator available. Washing machine, microwave, halogen hob and electric cooker. TV with basic Sky, DVD player, games and books, High chair and travel cot availability, parking by way of unrestricted use outside (first come first served basis), further unrestricted parking 150 yards away. Lawned garden with patio, barbecue, outdoor furniture and stream. Regret no smoking and no pets, two minutes to shop, five minutes to pub. Please note that there is a small unfenced stream beside part of the garden so children must be supervised. Steep stairs in property, may not be suitable for infirm.

Local Town Description

Niton has a super selection of shops, while just a mile away is Blackgang Chine with fairground rides, live shows and cliff top gardens. There is great walking and cycling opportunities with coastal paths providing sixty miles of pathway around the island. Ventnor is one of the many resorts benefiting from the mild climate of the island, while there is always a chance of popping back to the mainland via the ferry or the hovercraft.
