This magnificent property is set in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Freshwater Bay area of the Isle of Wight. It is opposite a golf course, and the former home of Alfred Lord Tennyson, the famous poet. A quiet leafy lane setting is perfect for a peaceful holiday.

The modern, beautifully presented accommodation offers five splendid bedrooms,one twin, one double and a single plus a king size double with en-suite shower, basin, and WC, and a king size double with en-suite bath, shower over, basin, and WC. Sitting room having doors to conservatory with dining area and extra seating. Study and family room, ground floor cloaks/WC.

This exceptional detached property also boasts a conservatory, solid oak flooring and a lovely ash staircase. Lovely gardens, wonderful cycling and walking plus Freshwater Golf Course a short distance away.

The less mobile may find the sloping tiered gardens difficult to manage.

Local Town Description

Freshwater Bay is a lovely position with white chalk cliffs and scenic downs as well as wonderful beaches. Freshwater itself is a pretty town with great restaurants, little shops and hotels. There are marvellous outdoor pursuits including walking over the Afton and Tennyson Downs. This property is a superb base for exploring the whole island.
