Cottage Description

This beautiful cottage is located in Kent and sleeps up to three in two bedrooms.

The property is a quiet country lane and is over 100 years old with many period features including internal doors and exposed beams. It has been tastefully renovated and the bathroom has an electric shower over bath. The two bedrooms comprise one twin and a single. There is a kitchen / diner and the lounge has a wood-burning stove. The conservatory leads from the kitchen onto a private garden complete with garden furniture.

Location

This cottage is in the lovely village Boughton Lees, which has a village pub and cricket green, and is surrounded by beautiful countryside, woods, footpaths and hills which guarantee fantastic walking opportunities. A mile from the main road, this is an ideal starting point for visiting nearby Canterbury, Ashford and Wye.

Wye has a good selection of shops and restaurants and has a small supermarket, a bakery, post office and a train station. Kent offers a many places of interest to visit such as Leeds Castle, RSPB reserves, wildlife parks, Finchcooks musical museum and much more.

Activities within a twenty minute drive include: hiking, walking and outlet shopping.

The property is heated with electric convection heaters and water by immersion heater. There is a telephone for emergencies only.

Power and fuel are included (please check website if there is a supplement for woodburner fuel in winter). Towels are for hire, but bed linen is included.

The kitchen provides: cooker with oven and grill, microwave, toaster, fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer.

For entertainment there is a TV, DVD player and a selection of books.

Outside is a private garden with patio furniture, and off road parking.

Pets are welcome, but sorry no smoking.

The nearest pub is within one mile.
