Cottage Description

Five miles from Herne Bay and just seven miles from the beautiful cathedral city of Canterbury. This is a splendid three bedroomed traditional brick built terraced property located in bustling Whitstable.

Presented and furnished in a pleasing modern style, there is also an open plan living area and a fitted kitchen. Ideal for couples and family groups, with the seafront only two minutes walk away and other amenities close at hand.

Front courtyard sitting area, patio and furniture located at the rear, one well behaved dog allowed (£10.00 per week), regret no smoking. Seafront, pub and shop two minutes walk. The property is reached by way of steep steps leading to the front courtyard.

Loading/unloading outside property, then roadside parking approx twenty yards away, with extra parking on the sea front charged at £3.50 per twenty four hours.

Local Town Description

With a traceable history back to before the Domesday Book, Whitstable is sometimes referred to as the "Pearl of Kent". Museum and gallery with regular exhibitions and coffee shop. The castle is dated 1790 and hosts events such as the May Day celebration with local artists and musicians.

The sixth century cathedral city of Canterbury, is just seven miles away whilst it is possible from nearby Herne Bay to see as far as Southend and the Isle of Sheppey.

We loved the outdoor space at the rear. The location of the cottage is ideal. We didn't need to use our vehicle as everything was in close walking distance.
