It has been subtly modernised to deliver a contemporary feel. It is situated next to Chilham Castle park in the area of outstanding natural beauty in the Kent Downs. Positioned on the North Downs Way National Trail and the historic Pilgrim's Way that leads to Canterbury only 6 miles away, this cottage is in an ideal location for guests to get to know this area better. Only 10 minutes walk way is Kings' Wood where King Henry VIII hunted deer. Jane Austen visited the close by Godmersham Park. The area is full of history and there are so many wonderful places to explore and discover with almost every single place you visit offering an insight into the past of England some 400 years ago. This cottage has one twin bedroom. It comes with a TV, satellite, DVD player, CD player and games for guests to use. An open fire offers a cosy ambience. There is a private garden with patio furniture and a barbecue. It has an iron, ironing board, bed linen, towels, fuel, power, cot and a high chair supplied. Wireless broadband is also available. There is a toilet, bath and a shower on the ground floor. The kitchen comes with a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, grill, oven and hob. No smoking is permitted. Off road parking is available.
