The hillside setting is absolutely right for the peace and tranquility that you will be seeking, and the property is unique in having its own water supply from a gravity fed spring in the hills. It also has no electricity (all facilities are powered by gas).

The property is well-maintained, simply but comfortably furnished and ideal for those interested in the great outdoors. Hill walking, bird watching and painting are among the pursuits that you would wish to indulge in, whilst free bank angling for one fly rod is available on a private trout loch.

You can go pony trekking, play golf and sail, all these are available in the area. You can use the owner's tennis court by prior arrangement. The nearest shops are six miles away.

The accommodation comprises one double bedroom and one twin bedroom, homely sitting room with open fire, simple kitchen with small dining table, bathroom with shower over the bath. Cooking and lighting by gas, ample hot water by oil-fired rayburn, heating by open fire. Small gas fridge and telephone for incoming and emergency calls. Fine mobile reception.
