Set in a peaceful oasis, this deluxe traditional Finnish log house lies on the outskirts of the Pentland Hills. The property sits in an isolated one acre garden that backs onto the surrounding meadows. Caution is necessary with young children as there is a pond and stream close by. Large decking areas and a south-facing sheltered veranda with seating encourages guests to partake in al-fresco dining in peaceful and idyllic surroundings. This unique lodge has lots of attraction and personality and is finished to a very elite standard, with a well-lit stylish interior and gorgeous cosy furnishing. There is ramp access for assisted wheelchair users or guests who have walking difficulties. The picturesque and historic market town of Biggar is 4 miles away with shops, pubs and restaurants. The dazzling Falls of Clyde, New Lanark World Heritage Village, horse riding, cycling, fishing, golf and hill-walking are all conveniently accessible. Day trips are a must to Edinburgh, the Scottish Borders, Glasgow, Stirling and the Trossachs. The property has two double rooms and one twin bedroom, (a cot and high chair are available by arrangement), living room with a log effect fire open plan to dining, integrated kitchen, bathroom with Jacuzzi bath and a rain shower over the bath. Cooking is available by gas hob with an electric oven whilst there is gas central heating. You will have use of the fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher, television, video, CD player and DVD player. Bed linen and towels are supplied.
