Maltkin Cottage can be found at Crook Hall Farm and offers romantic living in a peaceful environment. It is ideal for any couple and is based in the village of Bispham Green just south of Preston.

This property is a detached ground floor accommodation and is a former farm building. It is positioned on a working farm on the outskirts of the Bispham Green village. It has plenty of character and combines the mix of old and new effectively to offer astonishing holiday living.

The living area is open plan with exposed brickwork and crook beams. It has a well-equipped kitchen, dining area and living room that has a sofa bed. The cottage has one double bedroom with en suite facilities and is perfect for a romantic break.

This property has an LPG central heating system with extra heating from an electric stove in the living area. There is an electric cooker, fridge, microwave and a dishwasher in the kitchen. The living area has a TV, DVD player, CD player and a radio. There is also a collection of DVDs and books for guests to use during their stay. Fuel, power, bed linen and towels are supplied. A high chair and cot are available upon request.

There is plenty of off road parking available for this property. The garden area has a patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Storage space for bikes is also available. The owner has private ponds for fishing that guests can use. Unfortunately, smoking and pets are not allowed. The closest pub and shop are just a 5 minute walk away.

Local Town Description

Bispham Green is a striking village in Lancashire and is full of cottages constructed from traditional brickwork. It is also full of barn conversions and old farmhouses that enjoy the advantage of relative isolation but also being close enough to major towns and some stunning scenery.

The local area includes such treats as the Martin Mere nature reserve, market town of Ormskirk and the seaside resort of Southport. Southport has a lot of shops, a promenade and is renowned for the annual events such as the Southport Flower Show and the air show. The cities of Liverpool and Manchester are also close by with the Lake District within easy traveling distance.
