Local Town Description

Equally convenient for two of England's National Parks, the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales, Warton is set under Warton Crag, an area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With a post office and two pubs, you will also find that there is excellent cycling and walking available. Bird lovers will enjoy the proximity of the reserves at Morecambe Bay and Leighton Moss. Further afield, but within easy driving distance, you will find Windermere, Kendal and Kirkby Lonsdale.
